Curriculum
The UMES M.S. in Criminology and Criminal Justice program provides two options for completion:
- Thesis option (30 credits): The thesis option requires the successful completion of 24 semester hours of course work and a minimum of 6 hours of credit on an original thesis. This research-oriented option of 30 credit hours is designed for students who anticipate pursuing their academic career to the Doctoral level.
- Non-Thesis option (33 credits): The non-thesis option requires the successful completion of 36 credit hours of course work.
