Scholarships
UMES offers and accepts several forms of financial aid for undergraduate students:
All new undergraduate students will receive a grant based on GPA at the time of admission.
A minimum 3.00 GPA and a minimum SAT of 1000 are basic qualification for Honors Program consideration, which covers all tuition expenses.
Similar qualifications are minimum for the Marriott Foundation scholarship of $5,000 per annum. Graduates from Hospitality-related Magnet High Schools are especially encouraged to apply.
Direct industry awards are abundantly available from the sophomore year onwards.
